I wanted a page to keep everyone current with some of the projects going though my shop. I hope you enjoy these projects and I encourage you to check it out from time to time to see what's new. You might get some ideas on firearm modifications or additions to your personal collection. If you see one you like, let me know if we can do something similar for you. Restorations
It is always a privilege to bring an old, tired, or damaged firearm back to life. I have had the honor of doing some very interesting restorations over the past few years. Here are some samples of what we can do for your firearm. The first set of photos is a fire damaged Winchester Model 74, semi automatic, before and after. The second is a Mauser K98 that the customer wanted to revert back to a military stock. If you have a heirloom or just an old piece you want revived, drop on by and lets take a look at it.
Stormtrooper 1911
I had the opportunity to put together a very special gift for a special fan. This customer is an extreme Star Wars fan and has followed and collected franchise materials from the very beginning. His wife was so thoughtful to ask if we could do something very special for him and create a one of a kind unique firearm. I put together this custom 1911 with a Star Wars flair. If you have an idea for a gift or special occasion, we can help you to put together a firearm that makes a statement.
Semi-Custom 1911
This project was recently completed as a retirement gift. The pistol featured a Rock Island 1911, .45ACP. The customization included a match trigger, skeletonized hammer and heavy duty sear, an extended beaver tail grip safety, a wide magazine well and main spring housing, a light weight main spring, ambidextrous thumb safety, and custom-made exotic wood grips. In addition to the custom parts, it was given a smooth and tune trigger job that improved the trigger pull to 3-1/2 pounds. The laser engraving was added to commemorate the recipients important milestone.
If you are interested in having your 1911 upgraded or customized, or would like to get one to customize; call or email me.

AR 15 Build
I had an opportunity to build this Anderson Manufacturing AR 15. The rifle features 5.56x45mm NATO chambering and was put together from a basic kit. This is the perfect base gun to start with and add your own custom touches. The rifle shoots very well and grouped nicely right out of the package, despite having an issue with the front sight post. The rifle features many standard M4 components and stock furniture. The photos will give you an idea of what the kit looked like and the fully assembled end product.
If your interested in getting your own AR platform, I'd be glad to help out and get you started.

1911 Make Over
I recently had a customer that wanted to get a major make over for a "plain Jane" Colt 1991A1, series 80, government model 1911. So I started to work on the interior first with a new match grade hammer/sear combination, then I added a competition trigger. From there I added a light weight main spring; then I smoothed and tuned all of those to create a smooth, short, crisp trigger pull. I went on from there to polish the chamber, feed ramp, and barrel hood as well as the external barrel. After I finished with the insides, I focused on giving it a tactical, GI look. I started with changing out the grip safety with an extended beaver tail grip safety, I added a magwell mainspring housing and ambidextrous thumb safety. With those installed, I gave it a cool two tone OD/Black finish and added some aggressive two tone grips. I finished it off with some laser engraving and a set of high visibility tritium sights. This was a total inside-out makeover.
